This model of the Speyer Cathedral consists of over 60 pieces and can be assembled by the museum visitors as an interactive 3D puzzle. That way the visitors playfully learn something about the structure of the Romanesque church building.
The entire church model, as well as the pedestal, are made of beechwood. The surfaces have been sanded and oiled to emphasize the natural character of the material.
