Terrain Model TrÜPl Baumholder

This terrain model of the military training area Baumholder was milled from Necuron using high-resolution geodata (DGM). It illustrates exactly the distinctive topography of the region at a scale of 1:6000. Special elements made of Plexiglas can be illuminated at the push of a button and show the location of the cities Baumholder and Idar-Oberstein, the boundary of the training area and 13 settlements that had to be resettled because of the training area.
