Terrain Model Albula Railway Bergün

  1. Material: Necuron and Plexiglas
  2. Client: Albula Railway Museum

The topography simulator is a terrain model in the Albula Railway Museum in Bergün (Switzerland) which is 3.5 m large and CNC-milled according to geodata. The lighting of the built-in Plexiglas parts is computer-controlled and synchronized to a 3D video animation which explains to the visitor the process of creation of the railway line, which today is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Due to the size of the model and its integration into the organic museum landscape, the model was delivered in several parts and assembled by us on site.
